Lyndale Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting
Lyndale Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting
Monday, June 25th

Our featured speaker will be Joyce Wisdom, Executive Director of the Lake
Street Council who will be talking about the Lake Street construction and
its impact on neighborhoods and local businesses. The annual meeting will
also include election for board seats, volunteer recognition, the annual
desert contest, and much more.  Children’s activities will be provided by
Leonardo’s Basement as part of our new children’s program for General
Membership Meetings.  Questions about the annual meeting should be directed

Blaisdell YMCA Capital Campaign Kick-Off Party
Blaisdell YMCA (34th and Blaisdell)
Tuesday, June 26th
Drop in anytime between 5:00 and 8:00 pm

Join us for food and fun!  See what changes and improvements will be made to
the Blaisdell YMCA from the money we raise with your help.  Each dollar
raised locally will be match by $8 from the YMCA General Board.  The total
investment in the Blaisdell YMCA is projected to be $4.5 million.

Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off

9:00 am to 1:00 pm

This is the time to dispose of those old paint cans, weed killers,
batteries, auto wastes, and more.  See our ad in the Lyndale Neighborhood
News for a complete list of accepted and not accepted items.  For more
information call 612.348.3777.  Each participant will receive a FREE compact
fluorescent light bulb.

Design-A-Sign Neighborhood Contest
Want to see your Art Work all across Lyndale.  The environment committee is
hosting a Design-A-Sign contest to advertise recycling days.  Each sign
should incorporate the slogan “Lyndale Recycles” into the design.  Each sign
will have a topper indicating which day recycling occurs for each block.

·	Electronic submissions are preferred, but paper are also acceptable
	1	Signs must be able to be printed using a four colors process
	2	Include your name, phone, and email address
	3	Entries must be received at the LNA office by June 30th.
	4	The winner will be announced at the July General Membership
Meeting
·	1st place receives $50 and a package of Lyndale Merchandise
			1	2nd and 3rd place will receive a package of
Lyndale Merchandise
