Lyndale Garden Tour
Wednesday, August 20th
6 to 8:30 pm
Meet at Butter (35th and Grand) for a guided tour at 6 pm.
We all know how diverse the Lyndale neighborhood is. Now come explore just
how diverse some of the gardens are which are located here. Celebrate
outdoor city living on the second annual garden tour and visit 8 gardens
that will give inspiration on making your own yard an extension of your
living space. Whether it be a first year start up garden, an intimate patio
with outdoor bar, or a Moroccan Modern themed yard youre sure to enjoy the
evening walk through the neighborhood. This years event will take place on
Wednesday August, 20th, from 6:00 8:30pm.
To see all the gardens on a guided tour, meet up at Butter where your tour
guide Shannon will be waiting for you with maps and a sunny disposition. If
youd rather meander at your own pace on a self-guided tour get a map ahead
of time either at the LNA office or go to www.lyndale.org and print off a
map there.
Just dont be late for the end the tour in the neighborhood rain garden at
32nd and Pillsbury for a social gathering and raffle drawing that will take
place at 8:45. Tickets for $5.00 are available at the LNA office on 35th and
Nicollet, from one of the members of the Environment Committee, or with your
tour guide at the start of the tour. Admittance into the tour also enters
you into the raffle for a chance to win a basket of wine and wine items.
Proceeds help keep the neighborhood green by funding projects of the
Environment Committee and helping with on-going maintenance. For more
information contact Mark at the LNA office at 612-824-9402 ext 16 or

LNA Strategic Planning Survey (Please take online)
The Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA) is currently working on a
strategic plan to help create a vision for Lyndale and a guide for the
Neighborhoods program, events, and activities over the next three years.
An important step in this process is in understanding what Lyndale community
members think of LNAs current work and potential future direction.
Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey it should take around 10
to 15 minutes; we really appreciate your participation. You can take it
